PSG pay tribute to their former France U20 youngster Jordan Diakiese, who was tragically found dead aged just 24 in Paris yesterday
- Jordan Diakiese died in Paris at the age of 24, his club A.S. Furiani-Agliani said
- The right-back joined the Paris Saint-Germain academy at the age of 13
- He came through the ranks and played five times for PSG in UEFA Youth League
- Diakiese was also capped three times for France at under-20 level
- He left PSG in 2015 and subsequently played in Switzerland and Croatia
- This season, Diakiese was playing in France's fifth division for Furiani-Agliani
Former Paris Saint-Germain footballer Jordan Diakiese has died at the age of 24.
They wrote: 'Your second family will always think of you. Rest in peace Jordan'.
PSG expressed their condolences via a message released on Twitter.
'It is with great sadness we learn today of his death at the age of 24.
'Paris Saint-Germain send their condolences to his family, his relatives and his club.'
Born in Paris, Diakiese came through the youth ranks at PSG and made a number of appearances for their under-19 team in the UEFA Youth League during the 2013-14 season.
He wasn't able to break into the PSG first team and moved on to the Swiss club Chaux-de-Fonds and then NK Rudes in Croatia's second tier.
Last year, the right-back joined Furiani-Agliani, a Corsican club who play in France's Championnat National 3 Group D, the fifth level of their league system.
Diakiese played for France's under-20 team on three occasions while in PSG's academy.
