Virgil van Dijk is set to become the highest paid player in Liverpool history after agreeing a £220,000-a-week deal.
The Holland international will sign a five-year contract worth £57million according to The Sun, when Liverpool seal the Premier League title.
It ends any fears of the 28-year-old signing for French giants Paris Saint-Germain who have made it known that they want to sign him.

Van Dijk currently earns £180,000-a-week and could have earned another £100,000 on top of that if he had signed for Thomas Tuchel's side.
Liverpool superstar Salah currently earns £200,000-a-week and will see his team-mate now earn more than him.
Van Dijk signed from Southampton for £75million in what was a world-record fee for a defender at the time in January 2018.
